What happens at check-in?

Please present your passport upon arrival. Additionally, you will need to put down a credit card for incidentals and any charges that are not covered by Broadvoice. If your room is not ready yet, you are welcome to check your bags and enjoy the amenities until your check in time.

What are we doing the first night?

There will be a welcome dinner at 6PM at YAYA.

What is the weather like?

What should I wear?

Should I get travel insurance?

Travel insurance is not necessary, but it could be a worthwhile investment for some peace of mind while abroad. Click here for more information.

Does the hotel offer childcare?

Yes, Chileno Bay works with an external company called Cabo Babysitter.

What is the cancellation policy for Chileno Bay Resorts?

If you have booked under the Broadvoice group rate, the cancellation policy for Chileno Bay Resorts is 45 days. If you cancel your reservation within 45 days of your scheduled arrival, you will be responsible for the room.

Is there daylight savings time in Mexico?

No, Mexico does not observe daylight savings time.

Can I use Uber in Mexico?

No, Uber is not available in Mexico. Please reach out to the hotel or Korrina to help facilitate any rides.

Hotel Credit:

For breakfast, we will be providing a $30 room credit for each adult and $15 for each child. The credit will only be good for Comal from 8AM- 10AM.

Regarding activities, we will be providing a $150 hotel credit to each invited guest and $150 to their plus ones. This credit can be used towards tee times, spa treatments, or Chileno Bay Restaurant credit on Tuesday June 27th.

Farewell Dinner

The Farewell Dinner will be adults only. Kids 10 and under will be able to go to Kids Club and teens will be able to hang out in the Teen Room for a pizza party!

We have arranged transportation from the airport to Chileno Bay Resort with CaboGo. Our trusted contact, David Hernandez and his team, has your name and will be waiting for you at SJD (Los Cabo Airport) to take you to the resort.

Arrival Instructions

Here is important information regarding your arrival process at SJD. Please note that visitors are no longer required to complete an Immigration form. The only form required is a Customs form, and if you did not receive one on the plane, an agent will be in the terminal to give you one before you clear customs.

Once finished with customs, please proceed directly through the next rooms. Note that there may be timeshare representatives trying to get your attention. However, please ignore them no matter what they say to you, as you have confirmed private transfers and you do not need to engage with them. Exit these rooms, then proceed to the right to exit the terminal.

Upon exiting the terminal, kindly proceed directly across the small roadway to Umbrella #10. Look for the Agent/Driver with a CaboGo sign. In the unlikely event that you do not immediately locate the Agent/driver, please allow five minutes as they may be parking or assisting other guests. If it's more than five minutes, kindly call or send a WhatsApp message to David at +52 624 132 6320. Please note that this is an international number, and if you are calling from outside Mexico, you will need to dial 011 52 624 132 6320.

Upon arrival at Chileno Bay Resort, kindly provide your passports to the staff who will make copies of them. After that, you will be checked in and ready to enjoy the incredible resort! As a reminder the welcome dinner is on Sunday onsite at YAYA at 6PM.

Departure Instructions

Your departure transportation will arrive 3 hours before your flight. Please meet in the lobby 3 hours before your flight on the day of your departure.
